Always a wonderful feeling to receive a review for my work, and it's even grander when a review comes in for an early novel. Thank you, Niket from niket_a_reviewer. Please enjoy her review for Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary.

Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary by Rusty Blackwood

My Rating :- 4.9/5

A forgotten diary that has been missing for forty years tells the tale of rekindled love that was almost lost in Paris in 1999. Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary is a captivating love story that explores forbidden love, heinous adultery, cunning jealousy, and unrequited passion. It is a narrative that will stay with you because it is filled with danger, intrigue, and love that has no bounds. This intricate and moving tale centers on two star-crossed soul mates, Canadian author Joy Wychmere and Irish actor Cullen Malone, and describes how three vengeful individuals-the worst of whom in Philippe Robealard, a delusional, misguided homosexual artist who is determined to make the actor suffer for stealing the man he loves-put their unbreakable love to the test. Joy fights to survive a direct gunshot while Cullen is offered the option of ingesting a bottle of barbiturates, which is certain to take his life, or loss Joy for good if he does not, as they struggle through a series of miscommunications, humiliation, agony, and injuries. The besieged couple's situation becomes even more dire when it is revealed that fire is charging in their direction. A true test of endurance and tenacity is whether love can endure against all difficulties and the passage of time. Turn the pages to read the story in detail. The language used is rich and simple alongwith smooth narration. Highly recommended to all. I would definitely love to read more books by the author. Overall, a great read.
